A Story

One day, or evening I guess, Lindsay was bored so she was looking through her band websites and just looking up random stuff and downloading music...what she usually does on the computer. Lindsay discovered that many people had blogs. She began reading people's blogs and a long while later, on another bored evening alone at home, she thought to herself..'Ill write random thoughts and stuff on a blog myself'.

Lindsay began to write her own blog. She hasn't told any of her friends about it, only her man Ryan knows about it. He likes to look at it and tease Lindsay about her blogging. Lindsay is proud of her blog and it allows to to write random shit and stuff and she loves it. She hopes and dreams that one day people will love to read her blog and comment on how cool she is. She may even tell her friends one day.

So mad!!

I spent forever learning and getting all my links on my page....band websites and a few of people's blogs that I read..I changed my 'Template' and NOW ................................................
THEY ARE ALL GONE SO INSTEAD OF PUTTING THEM BACK I AM JUST GOING TO WHINE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!

Leaving like a day that's done and part of a season

i could close my eyes its still there

our beach..only a short walk away..what more could I ask for?

My audio posts

I have been trying to figure out how to put windows media file on my website, then find a host for my music files on my computer, and play music on my site. This is why I taped full songs through audioblog. I held the phone up and recorded three songs like a big geek. The songs sound is pretty crappy but whatever. Atleast I learned how to use audioblog, but I hate hearing my own voice so I won't use it for that.

Its amazing what new clothes can do , when it comes to how you feel. I was feeling ugly and all my clothes were looking bad..all worn out or too small..which has been way too depressing. Sooo.. today I gave in.

I went out shopping and spent all the money I had saved up for a new Kayak. I have been saving about 2% of my paychecks into a 'kayak fund'. Anyway, today I sept all 240 dollars of it. I feel so good now that I almost think it was worth it!

Today Ryan called me when I was trying on outfits in the Reitmans changeroom. He asked if I could stop on my way home and buy a toilet plunger. After talking to Ry I finished up shopping and then walked over to Superstore to buy a pluger. I look and look for a plunger. I even asked a worker (who gets to wear rollerblades while working) where plungers were located. He tells me aisle 21 or something( I can't remember the number). So I look back in one of the places I've already looked and still no plunger..So...on to Canadian Tire....no plungers! They are all out. So...... I go to WalMart and they had a plunger! Finally I had my plunger!
I spent almost an hourlooking for a fricken toilet plunger.

I felt like writing but I am distracted by Sex and the City.

I'll write more later. maybe about my weird dreams last night.

It breaks my heart

This breaks my heart..Just look at that cute and innocent face.

Please take the time to read this

Pierre-January 30, 2006
This old boy was rescued from a reserve. He had been found wandering on a work site. A kind man took this boy in and called us. He was emaciated, had a raging skin infection over a big part of his body. He had open oozing sores all over\unneutered and large masses hanging from his neglected body. He was made to sleep outside in the cold and was either loose running the reserve or tied up outside. He now lives inside with his foster family who love him more than words could ever say. He doesn't like to go outside\unless his family is there. Can you blame him?? He sleeps under the covers with either his foster Mom or his human sister. It took a bit of coaxing for them to get him on the couch!! He was never allowed indoors and was not allowed on furniture. He now snuggles on the sofa with his family. They leave the TV on for him if he has to be alone, which is infrequent. Now he knows love, kindness, compassion and what it is like to have food always, and most of all what it feels like to be part of a family that loves him.
Pierre unfortunately has only been in rescue just over one month, and won't be with us very much longer. A second blood test shows that he has lymposarcoma\most likely in his spleen and liver. He is not in pain, he sleeps more but still does the boxer wiggle and now throws his favorite toys around, he loves his stuffies!! He didn't even know how to play when he first came into rescue.

Soon his time will be up but at least he will have known love......finally.
If only we could get to them all sooner...
If only.. animals new only kindness..
If only .. abuse, neglect didn't exist..
If only....
If only......
